February Update
Hello District 3S!
February has been a month of action, with members preparing for competitions, fundraising, and getting involved in upcoming events. As we move closer to the State Leadership Conference (SLC), it’s exciting to see all the hard work paying off!
One of my biggest focuses this month was finalizing details for the Spring District Meeting (SDM). From coordinating judges to organizing workshops, a lot of effort has gone into ensuring a smooth and engaging event. If you attended SDM, I hope you gained valuable experience and insight into competitions and leadership!
At the chapter level, I’ve been helping lead weekly meetings, assisting members with their Program of Work challenges, and promoting the Bottles for Business fundraiser to support our initiatives. It’s been great to see so many members take an active role in their FBLA journey!
With SLC fast approaching, now is the time to stay focused, refine your competition materials, and make the most of every opportunity FBLA has to offer. Keep an eye out for updates, and I can’t wait to see many of you in April!
January Update
Hello District 3S!
As we step into February, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work that has gone into preparing for some of the most exciting events of the year. January was packed with planning, teamwork, and finalizing details for the State Leadership Conference (SLC) and Spring District Meeting (SDM).
One of the biggest highlights of the month was the January Joint Meeting (JJM), where the state officer team gathered in Rochester to finalize workshops, themes, and giveaways for SLC. I had the opportunity to collaborate on two workshops: “Build-A-Brand,” a social media and marketing session, and a team-building workshop. I can’t wait to see members engage with these sessions at SLC! Additionally, our team proposed a new theme and logo for the 2025-2026 NYS FBLA year, a process that involved brainstorming and refining ideas to best represent our organization.
Meanwhile, preparation for Spring District Meeting (SDM) is in full swing! Registration is now open, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to ensure an enriching and engaging event. If you’re interested in competing, networking, or attending workshops, be sure to get involved!
With SLC and SDM just around the corner, now is the time to stay involved, keep up with updates, and make the most of every opportunity FBLA has to offer. I look forward to seeing all of you soon!
December Update
As we wrap up December and look back on the year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible energy and dedication our members continue to bring to FBLA. Whether you’ve been preparing for competitions, diving into POW challenges, or brainstorming ideas for chapter events, your hard work is what keeps our district thriving.
This month, we’ve been busy laying the groundwork for the Spring District Meeting (SDM), which I’m confident will be an exciting and enriching event for everyone involved. Registration is now open, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to make it a memorable experience. If you haven’t registered yet, be sure to check in with your advisers for all the details
Our Career Development Committee also got creative this month, launching an Instagram campaign to encourage more members to join the committee. Along with this, we’ve been working on resources to support career exploration, including example posts highlighting different professions. If you’re looking for ways to grow professionally, this committee is an excellent place to start.
As the semester winds down, I know many of you are juggling exams, projects, and FBLA commitments. Remember, taking care of yourself is just as important as checking off your to-do list. Give yourself credit for everything you’ve accomplished this year—you deserve it!
Looking ahead to 2025, I’m excited to see what we’ll achieve together. Let’s make this new year one filled with growth, success, and a continued commitment to excellence. Thank you for letting me be part of this amazing journey with all of you.
Happy new year!
November Update
I hope November has been a month of progress, hard work, and excitement for everyone in our district! It’s been great to see so many of you taking charge of your goals, whether through competitions, events, or chapter activities.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our Fall District Meeting (FDM) earlier this month. From the amazing workshops to the charity contributions, the FDM was a fantastic opportunity for learning and networking. I hope you found inspiration in the sessions and are now feeling ready to take on the rest of the year with renewed energy.
This month, our Career Development Committee made sure to support the “Pitch It to Win It” competition by sharing helpful tips and advice via social media. If you haven’t already, check out their Instagram post for guidance on how to craft your pitch and stand out in the challenge. Whether you’re participating or just learning, these tips are sure to set you up for success.
As we approach the end of the semester, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work of all our members. For those preparing for exams or taking on major projects in addition to their FBLA commitments, your dedication is truly inspiring. Keep pushing forward—you’re doing great!

July Update
Hi District 3S! My name is Chloe Blaufeux, and I am a rising senior year at Mamaroneck High School. I’m super excited to serve as your State Vice President for the 2024-2025 school year!
FBLA has been a significant part of my high school journey, and I’m eager to share this experience with all of you. This year, I am committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic environment where we can all thrive and achieve our goals.
My fellow state officers and I were hard at work at State Officer Training a few weeks ago, preparing the Program of Work and state charity for this upcoming year! Not only did we work on larger tasks, but we also worked towards becoming more efficient and productive state officers through various workshops and trainings in order to serve you guys as best we can!
My goal right now is to ensure that every member feels valued and has the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. Wheteher youre brand new to FBLA and arent even quite sure what it is yet, or youre a veteran, I want every member to feel like theyre truly apart of the awesome organization that is FBLA!
As we embark on this journey together, I encourage each of you to take full advantage of the resources and opportunities available through FBLA. Step out of your comfort zone, take on new challenges, and don’t be afraid to lead. This is our time to shine and make a lasting impact.
Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm. I am honored to serve as your State Vice President and look forward to an incredible year ahead. Let’s make the 2024-2025 school year one to remember.
