November Update
Hello District 7, It’s your District 7 SVP Rebecca Hauser here to give you a monthly update on all things District 7. Looking ahead a little I have begun planning our SDM and we have finalized our locations and dates SDM will be held February 11th at Herkimer college If anything changes from now until then I will reach out to all advisors to let them know. I had so much fun with you all at FDM and can’t wait to see you guys again in a few months. Regarding pictures taken at FDM please forward them to our Historian Jasmitha Keesara as soon as possible. As you all know I have selected my District Officers, and I will be reaching out soon, so we start on the right foot for the incoming year. I hope you all have had an amazing Thanksgiving break as well. I know I had so much fun spending quality time with family and relaxing before heading back to school. October Update
Hello District 7 FBLA, It’s your District 7 SVP Rebecca Hauser. I hope you all are doing well as most of you know our District 7 FDM is coming up very soon on November 13 at Herkimer College. I hope to see you all there! The Welcome Back newsletter came out at the beginning of this month so don’t forget to check it out if you haven’t yet! Another reminder don’t forget to participate in this year’s program of work. We have some very fun
and exciting challenges that we can’t wait to see submissions for. September Update
Hello District 7, It’s your District 7 State Vice President here Rebecca Hauser. I hope everything is going well as the school year has started. I know personally I’ve already started getting busy with all my classes and hope everything is running smoothly for all of you!
As I said in my August update this year’s Fall District Meeting will be held at Herkimer College and it will be filled with fun, teamwork, and amazing food provided by Herkimer College. District Officer applications have been sent out to advisors along with the registration paperwork for FDM so please be aware of that. Also, with District Officers a list of expectations and responsibilities has been sent out upon request from several advisors but of course if there’s is any confusion please reach out!

August Update
Hello District, 7, it’s Rebecca Hauser you State Vice president here to give you an over the summer update. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer as it comes to an end. While I love summer, I’m excited to get back to school to start my year off right with all of you! Currently it’s a busy time for the State Vice presidents as many of us have begun to prepare for our annual Fall District Meeting. District 7’s FDM will be held at Herkimer Community College this year which is a change from previous years. In addition to this District officer applications will be sent out around the start of the school year so make sure to look out for those! Being a district officer is a great way to get more involved in FBLA. I look forward to seeing applications and possibly working with some of you over the school year. Other than FDM make sure to take a look at this year’s program of work, there are many new and creative activities to participate in. Make sure to reach out to svp7@nysfbla.org with any questions or concerns.
July Update
Hello District 7! My name is Rebecca Hauser, and I am a rising junior at Little Falls High School. I am so excited to say I will be serving as your 2024-2025 State Vice President for District 7!
FBLA is an outstanding organization comprised of exceptional members, I am eager to learn and grow alongside such talented individuals. I look forward to meeting the remarkable members of NYS FBLA who share the same passion for business, innovation and personal development. Together, I am confident that we can make this an extraordinary year for FBLA.
I am deeply honored to work with you all through the 2024-2025 school year. I believe that through our collaboration, we will achieve remarkable accomplishments. Together, we will harness our collective strengths and creativity to reach new heights.
Throughout this year we will all engage in a variety of competitions, workshops, and events that will undoubtedly challenge us to rise to the occasion and put forth the best version of ourselves. I am beyond excited to continue my FBLA journey with you all this upcoming year.
In conclusion, I extend my deepest appreciation for your unwavering support of FBLA as we embark on a new year of remarkable achievements. As the State Vice President of District 7, I am honored and excited to work on enhancing both my district and FBLA, as a whole. I am confident this year will be filled with unforgettable memories.
